DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: We will remain in the old Slocum & Ferris space for the post-vigil decompression meet & greet, but folks are still welcome to get a free non-alcoholic drink from Uncorked Tours.\nThis year’s annual Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil will be hosted by Saint John Pride at the Saint John City Market on November 20th at 6 PM, with a post-vigil decompression gathering, hosted by Chroma NB from 7 PM to 8 PM at Uncorked Tours. Enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic beverages while you mingle and decompress after the vigil.\n \nTDOR commemorates transgender and gender-diverse individuals who have lost their lives due to anti-trans violence. Created in 1999 by trans advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith following the murder of Rita Hester, this day highlights the persistent discrimination and violence faced by the trans community worldwide.\n
