Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out to Chroma’s Grand Opening at our new location on Carmarthen Street! We are so grateful for the amazing turnout and the beautiful display of community spirit.
The event started off with delicious food made by Sam Del Duca and live music performed by Dill Wong while folks mixed and mingled around the space. At 12:30, the rainbow ribbon was cut, and wonderful words were shared by our Executive Director, Hadeel Ibrahim, Health Minister Dr. John Dornan, and Zivi Richard, a representative of the province’s Women’s Equality Branch. Folks also had the opportunity to browse and bid on some silent auction items and artworks donated by local businesses and artists.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following local businesses, organizations, and artists who donated items, services, and artworks to our silent auction: Opal Oasis, Java Moose, Saint John City Market, A Brillant Choice, Green Grocer, The Butcher’s Daughter, Jeremiah’s Deli, GP Creations, Gridiron Brewing, Feel Good Store, Area 506, Imperial Theatre, Fundy Fringe Festival, Spark Call Productions, Five and Dime, Element 5 Spa, Weddings by Bailey Boyer, Third Shift, Keirstead’s Flower Shop, and artists Amy Ash, Erin Chasse, Mary Fleet, Natt Cann, Deanna Musgrave, and Pamela Marie Pierce.
We would also like to thank Julia Wright for capturing these beautiful moments for us!
