Chroma participated in the Saint John Pride Parade

Hundreds of locals and visitors were able to see and celebrate a glamorous Saint John Pride Parade returning for the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic. Several organizations from the private and public sectors, as well as non-profit organizations, including Chroma NB, took part in the event that occurred the past Saturday, August 6.

The parade, integrated by dozens of members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies, carried colorful flags, outfits, fans, hats and glasses, making the march a very well-noticed public meeting.

Among the various organizations present, along with Chroma NB participated in the march PFlag Saint John, YMCA of Greater Saint John, The Irving Group, and representatives of the Royal Canadian Navy.

Chroma, in its turn, carried a banner with the rainbow colors including the message “2SLGBTIA+ rights are human rights”.

After the march, attendees presented songs in a diverse Open Mic organized by Chroma and hosted by Gloria Halvorsen.
